Job summary

VettedBench seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines on AWS and Azure, focusing on automation and reliability.

You will lead SRE/Platform Eng initiatives, embed security and cost governance, and drive DevSecOps practices across engineering teams, leveraging Kubernetes, Helm, and Git workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Eng roles.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with deep experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or

Platform Engineering to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines on AWS and/or

Azure. The role centers on automating CI/CD workflows, operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes

platforms (EKS/AKS), and embedding quality, security, and cost governance into delivery pipelines. The

ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, scripting and automation expertise, and strong Git-based

workflow practices, and will drive DevSecOps adoption, IAM least-privilege reviews, and automated cost

controls across the engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering initiatives across cloud environments
• Design and manage AWS and/or Azure infrastructure across compute, networking, identity, storage, and containers

• Develop automation and operational scripts using Bash and PowerShell, leveraging the AWS CLI

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of AWS CLI
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Harness, or GitHub Actions
• Strong Kubernetes expertise, including EKS or AKS, Helm, ingress, autoscaling, container registries, and troubleshooting

• Strong Git proficiency, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows
