Job summary

HarmonyTech is seeking a talented Lead Software Developer to lead and implement enterprise Asset Marketing and Management solutions. The role is based in Northern VA and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain public trust clearance.

You will guide a high-performing agile team, design architecture, and deliver complex software using the listed technology stack. A BA/BS in CS or related field and 5+ years as a hands-on lead developer are required.

Job description

HarmonyTech is currently looking for a talented and self‑motivated Lead Software Developer specializing in the technology stack given below. You will be working with a high-performing agile team leading, designing and implementing business solutions that involve an enterprise Asset Marketing and Management suite of applications.

Position is available in Northern VA, requires US citizenship and ability to obtain public trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advise others on detailed specifications for translations into structure application programs conforming to established CIOO methodology and standards
• Accountable for completion of work on time to meet business performance expectations
• Supervise the writing/revision of program documentation, application operational procedures and client user guide in accordance with standards and client needs
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a hands‑on lead developer, developing code and managing projects using required technology stack (see below)
• Expert knowledge of software tools, platforms, and processes required to support the associated technology as indicated in Appendix
• Expert knowledge of databases and related tools and utilities (as applicable above); problem solving skills and proven record of working well in a team environment
• Advanced proficiency in analysis, leadership, and communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience designing enterprise IT applications
• Hands on experience in Technology Stack above
• Excellent understanding and experience with Enterprise Architectures, Cloud Migration, Enterprise Security and Systems Modernization
• Experience with Agile SDLC and tools
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users, the team, and leadership
• Innovative, results-oriented and focused on delivering on time and with quality
