Job summary

FNBO is seeking an experienced technical lead to architect and guide the design of enterprise data applications. You will drive API-focused, microservices-based solutions using Java and Python in AWS serverless environments.

You will mentor teams, participate in planning and code reviews, and ensure security, performance, and reliable deployments. On-site collaboration and on-call support are included, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing enterprise data architectures and pipelines.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Python and Java.
  • Hands-on with AWS-based solutions and serverless architectures.
  • API-first development with microservices and REST.
  • Strong leadership and ability to mentor teams.
  • Experience with code reviews and security best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead application design including diagrams and roadmaps.
  • Mentor team members and participate in code reviews.
  • Drive planning, estimates, and dependency identification.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and enterprise roadmap alignment.
  • Oversee production issues, vulnerabilities, and change management.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support.

Summary Of The Job
  • Lead application design including creating and maintaining application and network diagrams.
  • Ensure all solutions are compliant with best practices around application security, encryption, and data in flight.
  • Mentor team members.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Participate in planning for initiatives; tasks include design, estimates, breakdown of work, and identify dependencies.
  • Participation in Agile ceremonies.
  • Key contributor to roadmap planning and execution for owned applications and ensure these roadmaps align to the larger enterprise architecture.
  • Collaborate with other technical leads to identify dependencies.
  • Participate in development work.
  • Support resolution of production issues and create steps to prevent recurrence.
  • Oversight responsibility on resolution of vulnerabilities, compliance deficits.
  • Work with Change Management for code release, plan roll out, other teams and delivery team for production release, post release testing etc.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support.

Technical Expertise:

  • Enterprise data architecture and pipeline design

Compensation

Compensation range (base pay): $107,552.00 - $182,838.00. This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
