Job summary

Salesforce seeks a technically strong leader for Slack Kit & Accessibility engineering to drive accessibility strategy, own Slack Kit and the UI component library, and advance frontend initiatives across the company. You will collaborate with product and design teams to deliver accessible, consistent UX at scale.

You will mentor engineers, set multi-quarter roadmaps, and build a high-performing team while championing design-system powered experiences and accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Experience building accessible frontend systems.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Experience collaborating with product and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Slack's accessibility strategy with design and product teams.
• Own Slack Kit and the UI component library for consistency.
• Set technical direction for frontend initiatives (CSS modernization).
• Develop roadmaps with IC leads for multi-quarter projects.
• Provide coaching and grow the team’s technical capabilities.
• Foster a high-performing, supportive team culture.
