Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist Design Integrity Checker in the Hardware Design Integrity (HWDI) department, onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will verify mechanical and electrical TDPs, ensuring data integrity and producibility while adhering to industry standards.

The role requires strong CAD experience, familiarity with Model-Based Engineering, and collaboration across engineering disciplines. RTX offers comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM Bachelor’s, 5+ years’ experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, or 9 years if no degree.
• Experience with CAD design/drafting; mechanical and electrical TDPs.
• Experience with at least one CAD tool: Creo, ProE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform design verification and validation of traditional 2D Drawings and Model-Based Design TDPs.
• Ensure synchronization of drawings with design models and ensure compliance with ASME Y14.41 and MIL-STD-31000.
