Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation in Peoria, IL is seeking a Sr. Design Engineering Specialist to lead the operator station development for the Medium Wheel Loader and collaborate with global partners.

This role requires strong project leadership, experience with NPI, APQP, DFOS, CPI, and a willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally; five days in the office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
• Technical and functional understanding of machine systems and components.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with analytical/problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of operator station systems and component strategies.
• Design operator station workspace layouts for industry-leading UX.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept to launch.
• Support current production and maintenance activities.
• Drive CPI, BIQ, APQP and DFOS quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with partners and global design centers for CPPD.
• Coordinate with suppliers and facilities for global execution.
• Collaborate with China Design Center on GC Operator Stations.
• Deliver low-cost provider (LCP) deliverables.
