Job summary

LS Solutions in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Lead Machine Design Engineer to head the mechanical design of high-speed, custom automated machinery and robotic cells.

You will develop machine concepts from client input through shop floor release, manage milestones, and coordinate with fabrication partners while ensuring design integrity. You will integrate hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo systems, conduct safety reviews, and serve as the main technical contact for international clients.

Qualifications

• BSME degree or 5–10 years of ground-up machinery design experience.
• Expert SolidWorks with large assemblies and configurations.
• Strong knowledge of welding, materials, and machining tolerances.
• Proven project leadership to guide technical teams and meet deadlines.
• Local residency within commuting distance of the Milwaukee facility.
