Job summary

You will lead the complete systems design of industrial automation systems, perform FEA on precision components, and interface with customers to gather specifications and deliver technical presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
• 7+ years of post-graduate experience.
• Strong machine and systems design experience.
• Experience interfacing directly with customers.
• 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or equivalent.
• Strong FEA experience (ANSYS a plus).
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Duties:

• Lead the complete systems design of industrial automation systems
• Design and analyze (FEA) precision machined components
• Interface directly with customers and customer engineers in gathering specifications, answering technical questions, and conducting technical product presentations
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals
• Prepare 3D models (using Solidworks)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar
• 7+ years of post-graduate experience
• Strong machine design andsystems design experience
• Experience interfacing directly with customers
• 3D CAD modeling experience (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
• Strong finite element analysis (FEA) experience (ANSYS a plus)
• Strong experience leading cross-functional teams
• Mission critical / defense industry experience a plus (but not required)
• Ability to pass a drug test

Salary:

$120-135K
