Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect to join the Advanced Facilities group in Pittsburgh, PA, to design state-of-the-art mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and life sciences facilities. You will lead design work, mentor junior staff, and coordinate across disciplines while supporting business development and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program
• Professional Architecture license in US
• At least 7 years of architecture experience
• Experience with building codes and specifications
• Proficiency with Revit
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work onsite for construction work

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers responsible for an area of design in the technical design, construction drawings, specifications, and model creation.
• Attend project meetings and take an active role to help team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines.
• Participate in internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviews.
