Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect in the Advanced Facilities group to lead the design of mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and life sciences facilities. You will collaborate with our Pittsburgh, PA team to deliver conceptual through detailed design, coordinate construction activities, and mentor junior staff.

You will guide multi-disciplinary design reviews, apply current codes and standards, and leverage BIM workflows to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Professional Architecture license in US.
• Experience with building codes and specifications.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities for state-of-the-art facilities and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor designers and junior architects, fostering workflow improvements.
• Attend project meetings and help resolve design challenges across disciplines.
• Develop and review technical design, construction drawings, specifications, and models.
