Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a senior Dermatologist and Aesthetic Medicine Specialist for a state-of-the-art clinic in Randburg, Gauteng. The role requires board-certified dermatology expertise, leadership to supervise a team, and a focus on both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

The ideal candidate will perform complex procedures, stay abreast of latest innovations, and contribute to research and publications, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent) with specialization in Dermatology.
• Board certification as a Dermatologist (e.g., FC Derm, MMed Derm or equivalent).
• Registration with HPCSA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide spectrum of skin conditions.
• Perform advanced cosmetic procedures including lasers, peels, injectables, thread lifts.
• Conduct dermatologic surgeries such as mole removal and cancer excisions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for medical and cosmetic care.
• Supervise and mentor junior dermatologists, registrars, and aesthetic nurses.
• Ensure patient records and safety/ethical standards are maintained.
