Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to support clinicians and the care team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. You’ll perform X-rays, iTero scans, impressions, and charting while maintaining infection control and a smooth patient flow.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, prepare operatories, and collaborate with the practice team to ensure top-quality care. Travel to DeNovo offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of RDA experience in a dental practice.
• DeNovo offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of dental procedures.
• Take dental X-rays with precision and care.
• Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure.
• Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and transitions.
• Ensure infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Take accurate impressions and bite registrations.
• Conduct digital iTero scans for diagnostics.
• Assist with patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the entire practice team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
