Job summary

Lumio Dental is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to lead the back office and support clinicians in Oklahoma City. The role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on chairside duties and patient care.

You will supervise a small team, coordinate with Doctors and Hygienists, manage supplies, and ensure smooth clinic operations while exposing patients to X-rays and delivering quality care.

Qualifications

• Lead and organize the back office while assisting in procedures.
• Strong communication and chairside manner with patients and staff.
• Previous leadership in dental settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of dental assistants
• Communicate and partner with Doctors and Hygienists
• Order supplies and ensure compliance
• Keep the back office running smoothly
• Expose dental diagnostic X-Rays
• Record treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts
