Lumio Dental is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to take charge of back-office operations while providing high-quality patient care. The role includes team leadership, chairside assistance, and collaboration with Doctors and Hygienists to ensure smooth clinical workflows.

The ideal candidate will organize back-office processes, expose X-rays, and mentor staff, contributing to Lumio's patient-first culture and ongoing education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading back office in a dental setting.
• Excellent communication and chairside manner.
• Ability to organize and manage back office operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of dental assistants.
• Communicate and partner with Doctors and Hygienists.
• Order supplies and ensure compliance.
• Keep the back office running smoothly.
• Expose dental diagnostic X-Rays.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
