Job summary

Partnerships for Dentists is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to lead the dental assisting team and ensure a smooth, patient‑focused flow in the practice. You will support the dentist with 4‑hand dentistry, prepare rooms and materials, and uphold sterilization standards while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience required.
• CDA or RDA certification required.
• EFDA or expanded-function experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the dental assisting team.
• Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry and procedures.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards.
• Assist with lab work and post-op instructions.
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date.

What You’ll Do

As our Lead Dental Assistant, you’ll help keep the clinical side of the practice running smoothly while creating an exceptional patient experience. You’ll:

• Lead and support the dental assisting team
• Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry and procedures
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and materials
• Maintain sterilization and infection-control standards
• Assist with lab work and post-op instructions
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date
• Help keep the team organized, efficient, and well-stocked
• Jump in wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of dental assisting experience required
• CDA/RDA certification required
• EFDA, radiology, or expanded-function experience is a plus
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Organized, dependable, and confident taking the lead
• Positive, team-first attitude

Schedule

• Monday: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM–2:00 PM
• Possible Wednesday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
