Friendly Dental Group in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant (DAII) to take on a leadership role within a supportive clinical team.

You will supervise chairside workflow, assist during procedures, manage digital x-rays, and help maintain patient records and room turnover.

Qualifications

• 2+ years dental assistant experience
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Authorized to expose dental x-rays in NC
• Coronal Polishing certification preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside during dental procedures
• Lead and support clinical team workflow
• Take and process digital x-rays
• Maintain patient charts and clinical records
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure turnaround
• Sterilize instruments and uphold infection control
• Monitor and manage dental supplies and inventory
• Assist with training and supporting team members
• Help ensure smooth daily office operations and patient flow
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies

Responsibilities

• Assisting chairside during dental procedures
• Lead and support clinical team workflow throughout the day
• Take and process digital x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical records
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring proper room turnover
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Monitor and help manage dental supplies and inventory
• Assist with training and supporting team members as needed
• Help ensure smooth daily office operations and patient flow

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $23-$28 per hour, based on experience
