Friendly Dental Group in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant (DAII) to take a leadership role within our private practice. You will supervise clinical staff, assist chairside, and help manage daily office operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of dental assistant experience, CPR/BLS certification, and eligibility to expose x-rays in NC. Coronal Polishing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Valid CPR/BLS Certification.
• Qualified to expose x-rays in NC; coronal polishing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting chairside during dental procedures.
• Lead and support clinical team workflow throughout the day.
• Take and process digital x-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper room turnover.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Monitor and help manage dental supplies and inventory.
• Assist with training and supporting team members as needed.
• Help ensure smooth daily office operations and patient flow.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
