About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Lead Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-first environment. In this hands-on clinical role, you’ll work closely with Dr. Boyse to ensure smooth, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during all clinical procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms for daily operations
• Take and review high-quality digital x-rays (x-ray certification required)
• Perform coronal polishing (if certified) and other expanded duties
• Provide comfort, support, and education to patients during every visit
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment, following infection control protocols
• Track clinical inventory and ensure supplies are well-stocked
• Help coordinate care with front office and support seamless patient handoffs
• Support the clinical team by identifying areas for improvement and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
• X-ray certification (required); coronal polishing certification (preferred)
• Strong clinical skills, confidence under pressure, and a service-first mindset
• Dentrix experience required
• Compassionate, calm, and patient-focused
• A true team player who leads by example and takes initiative
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
• Positive energy and commitment to continual improvement
