Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a deli/prep associate to make sandwiches, heat and prepare deli items, and merchandise per planogram. You will work on the hot bar, pizza prep, and assist customers with deli products while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, producing food per SOP, training team members, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging for display.

Qualifications

• US work authorization required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow company policies and safety rules.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Regular attendance and meeting performance standards are essential.
• Ability to learn and use equipment and tools used in the role.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at start of shift and prepare PPE and equipment.
• Manage production planning and invoice review as part of daily tasks.
• Produce food for sales floor warmers and hot bar per POG and SOP.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment and display areas daily.
• Maintain food safety logs and track loss using KLT; train team members as needed.
• Prepare sandwiches, pizzas and deli items according to SOP and planograms.
• Assist customers with meat, cheese and deli products; portion and label items.
• Support the smoked program and other programd in line with SOP.
• Follow safety, lifting and PPE requirements; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Stock, organize and merchandise the sales floor and grab-and-go sections.
