Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor / Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department. You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, sampling, and meeting department goals. The role requires at least 2 years in fresh foods with managerial experience, and Serv-Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2 years of fresh foods experience, preferably in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in walk-in coolers.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and scheduling to meet goals.
• Provide product information and selling suggestions to guests.
• Take guest orders and ensure on-time completion and satisfaction.
• Enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.
• Order products and supplies to maintain stock and merchandising levels.
• Oversee deli/food service prep, display, and rotation of items.
• Process cash register transactions and handle refunds.
