Job summary

Bluewater seeks a Lead Deckhand for a 50-meter private motor yacht, based in the United States. This permanent role starts ASAP for a mature, highly motivated candidate with hands-on deck experience.

You will support docking, mooring, and water sports activities while applying strong maintenance knowledge and a teamwork-oriented mindset. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of yacht deck experience; OOW modules started are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years yacht deck experience preferred.
• OOW modules started are desirable but not required.
• Strong knowledge of deck maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with docking and mooring operations.
• Oversee water sports activities for guests and crew.
• Support deck maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Operate tender when required and ensure safe handling.
• Contribute to safe and efficient deck operations.

Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.
