Job summary

Northrop & Johnson seeks a Deck/Engineer for a brand new 47m private/charter yacht. This dual-season role requires a hands-on, proactive team player who can support both deck and engineering duties from the outset and adapt to a busy operational environment.

Ideal candidates will hold AEC 1 & 2, a valid Schengen visa, and B1/B2 visa. Yacht rating is a plus, prior yacht experience preferred but not essential, with September joining date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deck duties and general engineering tasks.

DECK / ENGINEER WANTED | 47M NEW BUILD | PRIVATE/CHARTER

We are recruiting for a Deck / Engineer to join a brand new 47m private/charter yacht.

This is a dual-season program looking for someone hands-on, proactive, and confident supporting both deck and engineering duties. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a good work ethic, practical experience, and the ability to help wherever needed.

Requirements / Ideal Experience:

• Must hold AEC 1 & 2
• Must hold Schengen visa/status
• Must hold B1/B2 visa
• Yacht Rating preferred
• Previous yacht experience preferred but not essential
• Confident assisting with general engineering duties, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, deck duties, washdowns, tender operations, and guest setups
• Hard-working, organized, and hands-on
• Positive attitude and strong team player
• Comfortable in a true dual-role position
• Must be available to join in September
