Burgess Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Deck Builder to join our growing team in Snohomish County. You will lead field crews, build high-quality decks, and ensure projects meet our craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications

  • Several years of hands-on deck building or finish carpentry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of framing, layout, stairs, railings, and exterior construction.
  • Ability to read construction plans.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid Washington driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

  • Build custom composite decks.
  • Read plans and execute projects accurately.
  • Lead and mentor crew members on the jobsite.
  • Coordinate daily work to keep projects moving efficiently.

We specialize in high-quality custom decks, patio covers, railings, and outdoor living spaces throughout Snohomish and North King County. Our projects are designed to last, and our reputation is built on craftsmanship, professionalism, and doing things the right way.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can confidently lead a team in the field, solve problems as they arise, and help maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect.

What You'll Do
  • Build custom composite decks
