Job summary

Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Beatrice location is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Safety & Habilitation Supervisor for 1st shift. The role includes HR duties, scheduling, and ensuring quality supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities cover active treatment, behavior plans, medical administration, and safety compliance. The position requires supervision experience and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on compassionate, compliant care

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a human services setting.
• Direct care support for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR functions for DD Safety and Habilitation staff, including hiring and evaluations.
• Prepare staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Develop vocational and recreational opportunities for individuals served.
• Lead and monitor adherence to personal care and habilitation plans.
• Administer medications and maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Document treatment and safety-related actions and communicate with stakeholders.
