Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a senior data visualization leader to provide enterprise governance, develop standards, and guide analytic report development across the organization. You will mentor junior team members, design scalable Tableau solutions, analyze complex business problems, and partner with Data & Analytics leadership to shape tactical and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics or visualization roles.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, maintenance and communication of data visualization governance and development standards.
• Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members.
• Design and architect high performance data visualization solutions.
• Work closely with Data & Analytics leadership to affect decisions regarding Tableau and data visualization.
• Provide team status and communicate risks to the development schedule.
• Assist management with employee development initiatives.
