Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
• 10–15 years of data science experience with production solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Julia.
• Expert-level knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
• Strong data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries.
• Deep understanding of databases and data manipulation using SQL.
• Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for explaining insights to stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Work with complex datasets to perform deep analysis and produce actionable insights using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Develop and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to predict trends, behaviors, and outcomes.
• Lead feature engineering to identify and select critical features that improve model predictive power.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to integrate and access data from multiple sources, including data lakes and data warehouses.
• Oversee the deployment of machine learning models in production environments to enable real-time decision-making.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of changes and improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists to support their growth.
• Influence the data-driven culture by shaping the data science roadmap and data strategy.
