Capital One is seeking a Manager, Data Scientist - Optimization to lead advanced analytics for in-market decisioning and optimization across a high-scale environment. You will translate business challenges into mathematical problems, develop optimization and ML solutions, and deliver production-grade models within cross-functional teams.

You will work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Analysts to validate assumptions, design experiments, and deploy scalable models on cloud and on-premise

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field with 6+ years of data analytics experience, or Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• 2+ years’ experience in open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis.
• 2+ years’ experience with machine learning.
• 2+ years’ experience with relational databases.

Responsabilidades

• Design in-market experiments with Product Managers and Business Analysts.
• Formulate and solve complex optimization problems (linear, mixed-integer, non-linear, heuristic).
• Build, test, and deploy production-grade optimization algorithms and simulation models using Python and solvers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business to integrate optimization engines.
• Develop machine learning models through design, training, evaluation, and implementation.
