Job summary

Intuit Inc. in Oakland seeks a Sr. Staff Data Scientist to lead analytics strategy for the Fast Money & Lending team, influencing product, marketing and lending decisions at the BU level.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of data science and analytics experience across multiple initiatives.
• Fintech lending/banking experience strongly preferred.
• Translate business strategy into analytical problems at BU level.
• Design and interpret complex experiments beyond traditional A/B testing.
• Expertise in causal inference, segmentation, and experimentation design.
• Experience creating reusable analytics frameworks and tooling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence at Director- and VP-levels.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy across fast money & lending initiatives to evaluate the customer lifecycle end to end.
• Influence senior leadership across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design.
• Advance the science with ML and causal inference methodologies for lending use cases.
• Lead scalable experimentation (A/B/n, painted-door, bandits, quasi-experimental designs).
• Build durable segmentation and customer understanding across a portfolio of analyses.
• Shape the AI-native roadmap with cross-functional teams; ensure measurement, safety and ethics.
