Fidelity Information Services, LLC (FIS) is seeking a data scientist to deploy data-driven analyses and predictive models across Risk, Fraud, Marketing, and Portfolio Management. You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ML lifecycle, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and staying current with GenAI and fintech analytics to drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in end-to-end ML/DS in payments, banking, or financial services.
• Strong Python/SQL and big data experience (Spark).
• Production-grade ML deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, validation, deployment and monitoring of ML/AI solutions.
• Prepare data from diverse sources for modeling and end-to-end analytics.
• Apply NLP and GenAI techniques to business problems in fintech.
• Design experiments and statistical analyses to evaluate strategies.
• Promote MLOps, model governance and best practices across the org.
• Communicate findings with executive-ready dashboards and storytelling.
• Stay updated on ML/AI trends in finance and payments.
