Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to advance experimentation, causal inference, and data-driven strategy across the organization.

You will lead cross-functional projects, architect scalable data products, and translate complex statistics into actionable business decisions aligned with OKRs. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to reveal insights, influence strategy, and build a high-performing, inclusive team while championing quality and rigorous analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of post-Bachelor’s experience in quantitative analysis and/or data science; or a Master’s degree +6+ years; or a PhD +3+ years
• Strong background in statistical analysis and ML methods.
• Experience with causal inference modeling and A/B testing at scale.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for experimentation and causal inference.
• Lead medium to large cross-functional projects across the organization.
• Architect and maintain scalable data products for internal tooling.
• Translate statistics into strategic OKRs and executive decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers to identify opportunities and shape strategy.
• Deliver insights share-outs to drive the consumer voice.
• Drive data science roadmap with high quality and timely reporting.
