Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Lead Data Scientist for Healthcare Compliance. Hybrid role based in Titusville, NJ and nearby locations, focusing on AI/ML solutions to improve monitoring, risk management, and decision‑making across global operations.

The role leads advanced analytics initiatives, leverages Copilot agents and enterprise AI, and collaborates with governance, compliance, and technology teams to ensure responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics to develop predictive, operational, and insight-driven solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R and SQL for data extraction, feature engineering, modelling, automation, and analytics development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field with relevant experience (5 years for Bachelor’s, 3 years for Master’s).
• Experience in developing and deploying ML models using common libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with NLP libraries, OCR, and embeddings for downstream work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and deploy ML models to identify healthcare compliance risks and patterns.
• Apply supervised/unsupervised ML techniques to business questions.
• Develop statistical methods to support risk monitoring and identification.
• Build scalable data pipelines using structured and unstructured data.
• Evaluate and improve model performance through monitoring and retraining.
• Query and analyze large datasets to create reproducible data science solutions.
• Develop Copilot Agents, chatbots, and knowledge retrieval to improve efficiency.
