Job summary

The role requires strong SQL Server expertise (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS), analytical thinking, and the ability to design scalable data processes. Mortgage servicing background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS and SSIS.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with relational databases and query authoring.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data measurement and analysis.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 3+ years' experience in an analyst or similar role preferred.
• 1+ years in the Mortgage Servicing Industry strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ETL processes preferred.
• BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review business requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Assemble large, complex data sets meeting requirements.
• Design and implement internal data/reporting process improvements.
• Collaborate with data teams to enhance reporting functionality.
• Create advanced reports using T-SQL per requirements.
• Automate reports via SSRS with schedules and distributions.
• Design dashboards and reports in SSRS per business needs.
• Create and maintain stored procedures and views.
• Design new database tables for importing data.
• Investigate data issues and correct root causes.
• Build analytics tools from the data pipeline.
• Develop and maintain databases; reorganize data.
• Prioritize business information needs with management.
• Mentor junior analysts and perform quality reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
