Responsibilities

• VLDB Management: develop and optimize VLDB solutions in SQL Server 19+.
• Performance tuning: lead query optimization and indexing strategies for high performance.
• Collaborate with DBA team to ensure best practices and reliability.
• Data Loading & ETL Leadership: oversee data loading and ETL pipelines using Microsoft BI tools (SSIS/SSAS).
• Data Architecture & Modeling: drive data warehouse design for scalability and security.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: perform rigorous SQL code reviews and enforce DBA standards.
• Database Security & Access Management: maintain entitlement models and implement TDE.
• AI-Powered Development: leverage AI tools for SQL refactoring and optimization.
• Mentorship: guide mid-level developers and analysts, assign work.
• Risk Assessment: ensure compliance and transparent issue escalation.
