Samba in New York is seeking a senior data analytics/engineering leader to own the data platform, oversee 100+ upstream sources, and deliver trusted insights for Sales, Finance, and Operations.

You will mentor a global BI team, set governance standards, and partner across functions to drive data-driven decisions. The role offers high ownership in a fast-paced adtech environment with strong growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analytics or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior analysts.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on with Azure data services and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Azure-based data platform and data ingestion.
• Ingest 100+ upstream data sources into the data warehouse.
• Build and manage complex SQL/Python pipelines and logic.
• Govern data quality, documentation, and governance standards.
• Deliver analytics and ad hoc insights for revenue teams.
• Partner across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Lead and mentor a global BI team and uphold coding standards.
