JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in its Corporate Technology organization. You will be a core technical contributor delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable manner.

You will lead and participate in cross-functional design, development, testing, and operational stability efforts, with a strong emphasis on AI-assisted engineering practices and secure coding.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years of practical experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages and secure coding practices.
• Proven ability to lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and set validation expectations.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and develops high-quality production code.
• Reviews and debugs code written by others and ensures security and reliability.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to enhance value and consistency.
• Identifies and remediates recurring issues to improve stability of software.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architectural designs.
