Job summary

H & A Resources, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve a data warehouse‑first, AI‑centric operating model. You will co‑own data architecture with leadership, designing reusable capabilities, and leading AI‑enabled data products end‑to‑end.

The role blends hands‑on data engineering with strategic architecture decisions, ensuring data is trusted, governed, and efficiently consumed across analytics, operations, and AI use cases.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience designing and building modern data platforms with hands-on data engineering.
• Involvement in system, technical, and data architecture decisions and tradeoff evaluation.
• Ability to move from architecture influence to leadership and ownership.
• Strong experience with cloud data warehouses, ELT, data modeling, orchestration, testing, and production data operations.
• Proven ability to translate architectural concepts into durable, scalable data products.
• Experience supporting analytics, operational workflows, APIs, integrations, and emerging AI use cases.
• Practical experience building AI-enabled data capabilities or laying the foundation to lead their development.
• Judgment around real-time vs batch, direct integration vs warehouse-mediated approaches, and long-term maintainability.
• Comfort collaborating with data, analytics, application, integration, and business leadership.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing to create reusable capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the system and technical architecture for a data warehouse-first, AI-centric operating model.
• Co-own data architecture and product design with the Head of Data & Analytics.
• Build and evolve reusable data capabilities across operational, analytical, and AI use cases.
• Lead AI-enabled capabilities within data products and accelerate development with AI tooling.
• Balance architectural tradeoffs and provide practical, scalable implementations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data is trusted, governed, and productized.
