Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Principal Data Architect to architect AI-ready data for agentic workflows. You will lead from the front, owning technical direction, delivering cross-workstream outputs, and partnering with frontier AI vendors to validate new patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise data warehousing solutions and architectures.
• Proven track record defining data strategy and platform architecture in large enterprises.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with modern AI architecture and production-grade AI solutions.
• Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric; familiarity with Azure and AWS.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI-ready data foundations, including semantic and context layers for LLMs.
• Lead technical workstreams end-to-end, setting direction and delivering defined outputs.
• Partner with frontier AI vendors and internal stakeholders to prototype and scale patterns.
• Shape enterprise data strategy and platform architecture across data warehousing, modeling, and governance.
• Build hands-on AI solutions using LLMs and practical agentic workflows.
• Engage with business and executive stakeholders to translate architecture into business outcomes.
