Job summary

Dovel Technologies, Inc is seeking a Data Governance & Data Catalog Lead in Washington, DC or remotely. You will lead governance programs, design operating models, and own client relationships across business, IT, privacy, security, and legal.

The role demands 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on Collibra implementation; travel up to 10%. You’ll shape roadmaps, governance enablement, and measurable adoption in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in data governance with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading client workstreams end-to-end, including executive communications.
• Hands-on Collibra Data Catalog implementation and integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance workstreams and small delivery teams to design and implement data/AI governance programs that are actionable and sustainable.
• Own client relationships for your workstream by setting expectations and driving alignment across stakeholders.
• Advise, present solution and governance alternatives, implement and operate Collibra Data Catalog.
• Design and operationalize governance operating models and roadmaps.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and training to improve adoption and reduce friction.
• Support proposals and pursuits with reusable assets and accelerators.
• Travel as needed based on client and project needs.
