Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced data governance lead to drive governance programs for clients, design Collibra implementations, and align business, IT, privacy, security, and legal stakeholders. You will lead, advise, and operate governance solutions with a focus on measurable outcomes and responsible AI practices.

The role requires 7+ years in governance or data programs, strong client-facing skills, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
Bachelor’s degree obtained.
7+ years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility.
Experience leading client workstreams end-to-end, including planning and executive communications.
Experience configuring, architecting, and performing hands-on Collibra Data Catalog implementation.
Experience shaping roadmaps and operating models connecting governance to delivery.
Experience delivering consulting or client-facing work, including workshops and outputs.
Experience with AI governance concepts such as model risk, transparency, and documentation.
Willingness to travel as needed based on client and project needs.

Responsibilities

Lead governance workstreams and small delivery teams to design and implement governance programs.
Own client relationships for your workstream by setting expectations and driving alignment across stakeholders.
Advise and operate new Collibra Data Catalog instance and alternatives analysis.
Perform hands-on Collibra implementation support with prioritization of features.
Design governance operating models including councils, stewardship, and escalation paths.
Define implementation roadmaps connecting strategy to execution and adoption outcomes.
Establish AI governance guardrails with risk management workflows and reporting.
Institute governance operations and controls to operationalize program and product governance.
Translate needs into scalable enablement with templates, playbooks, training, and communications.
Support growth by contributing to proposals, scoping, staffing plans, and accelerators.
Travel as needed based on client and project needs.
