Global Business Ser. 4u in New York City, NY is seeking a Collibra Data Governance Expert to implement and manage governance across the organization. The role requires expertise with Collibra DGC and strong leadership across IT and business stakeholders.

You will develop governance policies, design metadata workflows, and monitor governance metrics, while mentoring teams and staying ahead of regulatory changes and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data governance and data management, particularly using Collibra.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage the Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data governance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data governance frameworks align with business processes.
• Facilitate the adoption of standards and governance practices across the organization.
• Design and implement metadata, data quality, and data lineage workflows within Collibra.
• Train and mentor team members and stakeholders on using Collibra and adopting data governance best practices.
• Monitor data governance metrics and reports to track compliance and effectiveness.
• Lead data governance meetings and committees, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Address data-related issues in terms of data quality and uniformity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data governance and data management, particularly using Collibra.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and driving multi-functional initiatives.
• Experience with SQL and common data management technologies.
• Certification in Collibra Ranger, Collibra Data Citizen, or similar is highly preferred.
