Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to spearhead enterprise-scale Data and AI platform engineering on Snowflake in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing unified platform capabilities, governed data environments, and Snowflake-powered AI and ML enablement.

The candidate will design and implement enterprise-wide data platforms, develop scalable data models, and build high-performance ELT pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing data platforms on Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-wide Unified Data & AI Platforms leveraging Snowflake.
Architect and develop scalable Medallion Layer data models across Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Build and maintain high-performance ELT pipelines using Snowflake Dynamic Tables, dbt, Tasks & Stored Procedures, Snowpipe, and Snowflake Openflow Connect.
Develop AI-powered solutions using Snowflake Cortex ecosystem including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, Snowpark ML, Python, Streamlit, and MLOps frameworks.
Design and implement secure, governed data environments using Snowflake Horizon.
Establish and maintain RBAC and ABAC frameworks.
