Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Data Engineering Manager in Plano, TX to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise data architecture and pipelines. You will bridge architecture vision with engineering execution, building scalable data warehouses and robust BI/analytics using Microsoft Azure technologies.

You will enforce standards for Data Quality, observability, security, and production‑readiness, while driving AI enablement and smarter analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 8+ years hands‑on data engineering/architecture with 2+ years of technical leadership.
• 5–7 years advanced SQL/T‑SQL, Python, PySpark.
• Data Vault and dimensional modeling for data warehouse/ mart.
• Experience with Microsoft data tech: Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in REST, MS SQL Server, Git, and modern BI/analytics stacks.
• Strong communication, customer interaction, and multi‑project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on design, development, testing, and optimization of enterprise data solutions.
• Lead data architecture and design across Fabric, data platforms, security, and analytics.
• Develop review and optimize data pipelines, Data Vault models, and Fabric solutions.
• Mentor engineers, review code/design, and enforce best practices.
• Drive AI enablement and Power BI experiences with natural‑language UI.
