The role emphasizes hands-on Databricks work, AI-assisted tooling adoption, and strong leadership in data architecture and governance.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with architects and product teams, and design scalable solutions for analytical, operational, and AI-driven use cases.

Formación

• Formal training with 5+ years in software or data engineering.
• 10+ years building enterprise-scale software/data solutions.
• Hands-on system design, development, testing and operations.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with governance.
• Strong in responsible AI, data sensitivity, security and resiliency.
• Deep Databricks experience and distributed data processing.
• Solid data engineering fundamentals: modeling, integration, data products.
• Experience designing/operating large-scale data platforms in enterprises.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and influence direction.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of scalable, enterprise data products.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across design, implementation, reviews, and production readiness
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value
• Establish and promote data engineering patterns and standards
• Design solutions for analytical, operational, reporting, and AI-driven use cases
• Drive data quality, reliability, observability, governance, performance, and scalability
• Partner with architects, product teams, engineers, and data producers/consumers
• Mentor engineers and build data engineering capability
• Identify opportunities to simplify platforms and increase reuse
