Vuori is hiring a Principal Data Engineer to design, build, and scale data pipelines for analytics, spanning raw ingestion to curated layers. You’ll collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to set technical direction and raise the team’s standards.

You will implement end-to-end ingestion patterns (REST, CSV, JSON, XML), develop resilient extraction logic, model semi-structured data in Snowflake, and contribute to CI/CD with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience, senior/lead level
• Strong SQL and programming skills (Python, Scala, or Java)
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and data pipelines across ingestion, staging, and serving layers
• Experience modeling semi-structured data in cloud warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
• Familiarity with IaC (Terraform/ARM/Bicep) and CI/CD practices
• Exposure to real-time analytics/streaming is a plus
• Experience with data quality, testing, and pipeline observability

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and scale data pipelines for analytics-ready data
• Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines across source, curated, and serving layers
• Design ingestion patterns for diverse data formats (REST, CSV, JSON, XML)
• Develop resilient extraction logic with pagination, auth, and delta syncs
• Parse semi-structured JSON into relational structures in Snowflake
• Handle large-scale file ingestion and backfill scenarios
• Contribute to CI/CD of ADF pipelines via Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions
• Mentor other data engineers and set technical standards for pipelines
