Celestica is seeking a seasoned Thermal Engineer in San Jose to lead the thermal strategy and tackle complex cooling challenges for AI servers, switches, accelerators, and rack-level infrastructure. You will guide engineers across the product lifecycle from modeling to manufacturing, applying advanced thermal simulations, and leveraging global heat transfer hardware knowledge.

• 12+ years of experience in thermal systems engineering, preferably with direct liquid cooling for data centers or HPC.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, supplier management, and technology transfer.
• Strong understanding of liquid cooling-specific reliability, safety, and performance challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Lead designs, conduct detailed analyses, set design strategy, and join department planning.
• Guide design engineers in complete ownership of thermal design for products from modeling to manufacturing transfer.
• Conduct thermal simulations and analyses to verify feasibility and inform designs.
• Maintain awareness of heat transfer hardware available, including cost and integration into products.
• Conceive and implement ways to enhance operation of heat transfer hardware.
• Apply best-in-class fluid flow and geometry to cool high heat flux chips.
• Size cooling components and plan work to meet performance targets.
