Job summary

rossorecruiting is seeking a seasoned HVAC technician to lead data center projects, with emphasis on VRF systems, RTUs, chillers, and controls. The role involves coordinating equipment delivery, installation support, and startup activities to ensure uptime and reliability of critical climate control systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of HVAC service experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Qualifications

5 years of HVAC service experience with Split systems RTU and controls.
Experience in data center environments or similar critical infrastructure.
HVAC certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee HVAC equipment delivery, inspect for completeness and shipping damage, and coordinate on-site logistics.
Assist during equipment mobilization and installation, ensuring timelines and safety.
Perform pre-energization inspections after installation.
Collaborate with BMS engineers to verify PLC/BMS communication with HVAC equipment.
Lead energization of HVAC systems and coordinate testing of performance data.
Support commissioning and warranty repairs as needed.
