Qualifications

• 5-7 years of substantial HVAC experience, with focus on data center environments.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing technicians.
• Deep knowledge of data center HVAC demands and challenges.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and operational protocols.
• Experience with monitoring/management systems used in data centers.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of HVAC field service technicians serving data centers.
• Develop service protocols for data center HVAC operations.
• Collaborate with data center project managers for maintenance and rapid responses to failures.
• Maintain safety guidelines and foster a safety-first culture.
• Monitor inventory to keep service vehicles stocked with parts and equipment.
• Coordinate with Sales/Marketing to highlight data center HVAC capabilities.
• Provide feedback through the customer experience system and service sales teams.
• Support service promotions, tools, and goals.
• Interact with Service Sales/Engineering for feedback and leads.
• Participate in recruiting to support staffing needs.
• Advise on scheduling conflicts and technical/service issues.
• Oversee new-hire orientation and field training.
• Perform quality assurance checks in the field.
• Handle back-office service administration tasks like time sheets and expense reports.
