Job summary

Munters Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a highly experienced Field Team Manager specializing in HVAC systems for data centers. You will lead and mentor a team of field technicians, ensuring superior operation, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to critical data center needs.

Key duties include developing service protocols, maintaining safety and compliance, coordinating with project managers and Sales/Engineering teams, and driving continuous improvement while aligning with our data

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of substantial HVAC experience with a strong focus on data center environments.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of technicians.
• Deep knowledge of data center infrastructure and operational protocols.
• Experience with state-of-the-art monitoring and management systems used in data centers.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of HVAC field service technicians in installing, servicing, and maintaining data center HVAC systems.
• Develop and enforce service protocols and best practices for data center operations.
• Collaborate with data center project managers and stakeholders to coordinate preventive maintenance and rapid response to failures.
• Maintain safety guidelines and foster a culture of safety and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and optimize inventory management for data center HVAC parts and equipment.
• Coordinate with Sales/Marketing to highlight data center HVAC services.
