Job summary

Munters Corporation in Minnesota seeks a seasoned Field Team Manager with deep HVAC specialization for data centers. You will oversee a team of technicians, ensure reliable operation and maintenance of data-center HVAC systems, and drive customer satisfaction through proactive service delivery.

You will develop data-center service protocols, collaborate with project managers and sales teams, emphasize safety, and manage field operations from scheduling to on-site support.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of substantial experience in HVAC, with a significant focus on data center environments.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of technicians.
• Deep knowledge of the demands and challenges of data center HVAC systems.
• Willingness to travel to multiple site locations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor HVAC field service technicians in data center environments.
• Develop service protocols for data center HVAC operations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with data center project managers to facilitate preventive maintenance and rapid responses to failures.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and foster a safety-first culture.
• Monitor and optimize inventory management to keep service vehicles stocked for data centers.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing to promote data center HVAC capabilities.
• Provide feedback to engineering and service teams on technical support quality and availability.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding to support staffing needs.
• Perform back-office service administration tasks such as time sheets and expense reports.
