Job summary

Yates Construction Co. is seeking a Project Manager for Data Center/Mission Critical projects in Texas. The PM will lead all aspects of construction management, serve as the client contact, and drive quality and profitability on large-scale builds.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
10 years’ previous commercial construction management experience.
Multiple medium to large datacenter project experience ($100M+) required.
Strong leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead safety culture for the project.
Control costs and maintain profitability for the project(s).
Manage field construction activity, engineering, and project support activities.
Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Review cost reports and analyze opportunities to reduce costs.
Determine labor requirements and coordinate with management.
Conduct regular project inspections and address safety issues.
Coordinate work with subcontractors to match project scope and specs.
Oversee quality control and project purchasing activities.
Coordinate with architects, inspectors, and owner representatives to resolve issues.
